LIPOSCULPTURE
Liposculpture is a very common and popular procedure. It is designed for the removal of fatty tissue, it is an elective procedure that allows the surgeon to remove undesirable, subcutaneous fat in isolated areas that do not respond to diet and exercise. These areas include the hips, thighs, abdomen, knees, ankles, face, neck, and arms.
There is however a difference between Liposuction and Liposculpture. Liposuction is used in the deeper layer of the skin where there are stubborn localized fat deposits. Liposculpture is as is sounds for use in sculpting the body and in some cases helpful in the removal of cellulite in the superficial layer of the skin.
Liposuction is most successful in people with good skin tone who have stubborn area of fat. It is most important to note that Liposuction is not a treatment for obesity.
We know that many clinics offer substitutes to Liposuction but please be assured that this is the tried and tested procedure with excellent results. Many new techniques on the market including Vaser etc have yet to prove the test of time. Similarly Smart Lipo was hailed as revolutionary but clinics offering this procedure in the last few years have now withdrawn this procedure entirely and are refunding accordingly.
Unlike our competitors, we at cosmedico do not price according to areas treated. We deem this as unfair and not good value to the perspective client. The cost will be assessed on the theatre time and therefore makes this procedure affordable and probably less expensive than the alternatives offered elsewhere.
This procedure does not require an overnight stay and patients can leave the clinic following their procedure within 6 hours.
